CONSULATE-CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS
FOR USE IN ITALY and other consulates
To use Italian translations of foreign records in Italy you need to obtain a certificazione di conformità della traduzione at the Italian consulate having jurisdiction over your foreign document.
Sometimes this is also called 'translation legalization by the Consulate' or 'visto/timbro per traduzione conforme' or 'translation authentication'.
This service is offered in person by appointment or by mail, and the fee is €13 per page. Check your Consulate requirements.
I will prepare your translations to be certified at the relevant Consulate for use in Italy or in an Italian Consulate in a different country.

ABOUT
ME
After completing my studies in Electrical Engineering, I worked for several years in a power plant near Milan, Italy, as a project, maintenance, operation, EHS, and commissioning engineer for an international project.
In 2012, I was selected as contract linguist for the European Union (EPSO/CAST/S/1/2011). Later, I became a full-time freelance translator and, in 2017, I passed the Diploma in Translation of the Chartered Institute of Linguists of London (DipTrans, CIOL) from English into Italian. In 2020 I obtained a postgrad in Specialized Legal Translation at the University of Genoa, Italy, in Italian, English, and Spanish.
I am fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish and I had lived in Italy, in the United States, and in Argentina.
