I will prepare your translations to be certified at the relevant Consulate for use in Italy, in the Court of Rome for your 1948 case, or in an Italian Consulate in a country different than that of issues.
When is this required?
Example #1: Anna is an Italian citizens who got married in Las Vegas but resides in Germany. She needs to register her American marriage with the Italian consulate in Germany.
Example #2: Peter is a citizen of the United States with Italian ancestry. He decides to move to Italy and apply for Italian citizenship by blood while residing there. He will need to present his US vital records, apostilled and translated, directly to the Comune.
Example #3: Joe will apply for Italian citizenship iure sanguinis at the Italian Embassy in Washington DC. He was instructed that his translations needs to be certified before his appointment.

About me
As a young MS in Electrical Engineering, I worked as a project, maintenance, operation, EHS, and commissioning engineer for an international project in a power plant near Milan, Italy.
In 2012, I was selected as contract linguist for the European Union (EPSO/CAST/S/1/2011) and I became a full-time freelance translator. In 2017, I obtained the Diploma in Translation of the Chartered Institute of Linguists of London (DipTrans, CIOL) from English into Italian and in 2020 a Specialization in Legal Translation from the University of Genoa, Italy, in Italian, English, and Spanish.
I am fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish and have lived in Italy, in the United States, and in Argentina.
